HOW IT WORKS

Passive Cooling. Powerful Thermal Protection.

The concept is simple.

Verne Solutions Industrial Coolers are built with highly durable materials and advanced thermal insulation designed to significantly reduce heat transfer from the outside environment.

Because no thermal insulation system can completely eliminate heat transfer, the small amount of heat that enters the Cooler is absorbed by our reusable Industrial Ice Packs.

Together, the Industrial Cooler + Ice Packs create a highly efficient passive cooling system capable of maintaining low temperatures for extended periods, even inside a non refrigerated truck during demanding summer conditions.

How Long Can It Maintain Temperature?

Typical Verne Solutions configurations are designed to provide approximately:

FROZEN

12–20 HOURS
Approx. 0°F

REFRIGERATED

16–24 HOURS
Approx. 34°F

Longer temperature holding times can be achieved with specially designed configurations based on the application, product requirements and operating conditions.

Actual performance may vary depending on ambient temperature, loading conditions, number of door openings, product temperature and system configuration.

A Simple Daily Operating Cycle

The system is designed around a practical reusable cycle:

FREEZE → LOAD → TRANSPORT → RETURN → REFREEZE → REUSE

For many daily distribution routes, a 12 hour operating window provides sufficient time to load, transport and distribute temperature sensitive products while maintaining the required conditions.

Once the truck returns from its route, the Ice Packs are removed and placed inside the walk in freezer.

After approximately 8 hours of freezing, they are ready to be used again the following morning.

The Cooler Does Not Need to Stay Overnight in the Freezer

ONLY THE ICE PACKS NEED OVERNIGHT FREEZING.

This is an important operational advantage.

The Ice Packs must be frozen overnight, but the Industrial Coolers do not need to be stored inside the walk in freezer overnight.

For optimal performance, products should be loaded into the Industrial Cooler within the temperature controlled environment.

This allows:

• The products to remain within their required temperature range during loading
• The Cooler body to precondition to the colder environment
• Cold air to remain inside the Cooler when the door is closed
• The Ice Packs and insulation system to begin the route under optimal conditions

Together, these factors help maximize thermal performance and maintain cold chain integrity throughout the distribution process.

Why refrigerate the entire truck when you can protect the product?

Reduce Your Dependence on Refrigerated Trucks

For suitable applications, Verne Solutions Industrial Coolers can reduce or even eliminate the need for refrigerated trucks for certain distribution routes.

Instead of refrigerating the entire truck, the system concentrates thermal protection around the products that actually require temperature control.

This can help businesses reduce:

• Refrigerated fleet requirements

• Fuel consumption

• Maintenance costs

• Refrigeration equipment expenses

• Operational complexity

while maintaining a reliable cold chain solution for fresh, refrigerated and frozen products.

One System. Reusable Every Day.

Freeze overnight. Load. Deliver. Return. Reuse.

Freeze overnight. Load. Deliver. Return. Reuse.
